VIDEO: Potomac Phil Says Spring is Coming

DC's own Groundhog Day tradition continued Saturday.

Potomac Phil, DC's own prognosticating groundhog, made his second annual appearance in Dupont Circle Saturday, predicting an early spring and six more weeks (or months) of political gridlock.

Ward 2 Councilman and Georgetown resident Jack Evans was the official interpreter of Phil's prediction.

This year's event featured a polka especially for the occasion—check out the video above to hear it.
