When/Where: Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting at St. John's Church, 3240 O St. NW.

Why Go: Take part in a Georgetown tradition! This year's tour showcases
nine homes, ranging in style from traditional to contemporary. Enjoy a tea, included with price of admission, at St. John's Church from 2 to 5 p.m.

2. 120+ Family "Yard" Sale on the National Cathedral Grounds Saturday

When/Where: Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Washington National Cathedral, 3001 Wisconsin Ave. NW.

Why Go: The St. Alban's Early Childhood Center Parents Association is hosting a rummage sale on the grounds of the National Cathedral. Snag some deals with clothing, books, toys, and small household goods in good condition.

When/Where: Saturday 7 to 10 p.m. at the Josephine Butler Parks House, 2437 15th St. NW.

Why Go: The Big Chili is Stoddert Elementary's biggest fundraiser of the year. It features live and silent auctions, a raffle, an open bar and more.

Price: $45 per person

4. Little Seasons - Gardening Party Open House

When/Where: Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Little Seasons, 3222 O St. NW.

Why Go: Bring your little one to plant some flowers and enjoy some gardening activities. You can meet staff and take a tour of this Georgetown childcare facility.

Price: Free to attend.

5. Jackson Art Center Spring 2013 Open Studios

When/Where: Sunday noon to 5 p.m. at the Jackson Art Center, 3048 R St. NW.

Why Go: The studios are open to the public only twice at year. Guests can explore the workspace of some 40 local artists who work out of the Jackson Art Center. Complimentary light refreshments and live music will be offered.

Price: Free to attend.
