Plunging Toilets, Cutting Pineapples: What Georgetowners Learned from Their Dads

Father's Day musings from around Georgetown.

In honor of Father's Day, Patch asked people around Georgetown what their dads taught them; the responses were touching, funny and enlightening.

We heard from Nancy Miyahira at the Georgetown Business Improvement District about learning how to perfectly cut a pineapple (she grew up in Hawaii after all) and Rev. John Graham at Grace Church talking about father figures in his life, like a favorite scout master and a priest who made a difference.

Check out our video of what everyone — from business owners to people who live or work in Georgetown — had to say about lessons from dad.
