Whitehurst Freeway Ramp To Be Partially Closed
DDOT conducts bridge and tunnel inspection.
The eastbound ramp from Whitehurst Freeway to I-66, will have alternating shoulders closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, a District Department of Transportation alert said.
The lane will be closed while DDOT does its bridge and tunnel safety inspections throughout the district, the alert said.
The northbound and southbound right lanes of 7th Street SW, near Virginia Avenue, will also be alternately closed for inspection on Thursday, the alert said.
"Motorists are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel," the alert said.
