The Mansaku-no-Kai Kyogen Company
WASHINGTON — The Mansaku-no-Kai Kyogen Company specializes in kyogen, a Japanese style of spoken drama and comedy often compared to commedia dell'arte. Show concludes Saturday, May 19, at The John F. Now Showing: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
GEORGETOWN — This weekend, the AMC Loews Georgetown will screen “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” a comedy about a group of British retirees whose decision to “outsource” retirement to newly restored Marigold Hotel India is met with a less-luxurious reality — the hotel is a shell of its former self. DanceFest at BlackRock
GERMANTOWN — ClancyWorks opens BlackRock Center for the Arts’ inaugural DanceFest weekend with a site-specific piece set in the theater’s lobby. 8 p.m. Friday, May 18.  $25, BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive. National Philharmonic Honors Debussy
NORTH BETHESDA — National Philharmonic presents Debussy’s Martyrdom of St. Sebastian, marking the 150th anniversary of the French composer’s birth. Collective Soul Plays Fillmore
