Silverdocs Turns 10
SILVER SPRING — 2012 AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Festival, June 18-24, is celebrating its 10th year. The documentary film festival opens with “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey,” which follows Filipino singer Arnel Pineda’s journey toward stardom. The Green Bird at National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts
WASHINGTON, DC — Georgetown's own student acting company will perform Carlo Gazzi's The Green Bird "a classic commedia dell'arte tale" according to the event listing. DC Metro Theater Arts gave the production four stars (out of five) for providing "many laughs and zany characters." . The Conservatory's entrance is on Volta Place - rear basement of the Lutheran Church.
Reel Water Film Festival at BlackRock
GERMANTOWN — Reel Water Film Festival will screen more than 60 films about the global water crises.
