Fiber Arts Festival

Come learn heritage techniques of working with wool from the Second Sunday Spinners. These knowledgeable women will demonstrate skills like spinning yarn, carding, combing, felting, Navajo spindling, and knitting. Live animals like sheep and rabbits will be on hand to help children understand the process of creating fibers from start to finish.

The festival will run from 9 a.m. — 1 p.m. at the Glover Park-Burleith Farmers’ Market. Jug band Snakehead Run will provide folksy tunes.
