Join us for “Reflections,” a photo sale and fundraiser to celebrate clean water and river conservation.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit Potomac Riverkeeper, a nonprofit dedicated to stopping pollution and restoring clean water in the Potomac River, Shenandoah River and their tributaries through community engagement and enforcement.
The event, hosted at the Patagonia retail store in the heart of Georgetown, will include light snacks, fresh tonics, music and raffle giveaways, plus a special photo sale, featuring the work of photographers dedicated to using their craft to inspire people to care about our natural water resources.
Calling all photographers! Want to donate a photo for consideration? Read the full submission guidelines below.
This special event is held this month to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, the nation’s law for protecting our most irreplaceable resource, as well as to raise awareness about the upcoming World Rivers Day, to be observed on the last Sunday of September.
