War of 1812 Quiz Show

2012 marks the bicentennial of the War of 1812 – an event
important to the history of our nation as well as Dumbarton House. As part of
the War of 1812 commemoration, we are partnering with filmmaker Diane Williamson
to produce a promotional video that will feature Dumbarton House, as well as
some other local historical sites relevant to the war in Washington, D.C. A
primary section of the video will include a War of 1812-themed history quiz
that will be open to all our visitors, and all of you.

Filmmaker Diane Williamson will be filming at Dumbarton
House on Sunday, July 22nd from 10am-4pm. Come on up to Dumbarton
House any time between 10 and 4 to test your historical knowledge of the War of
1812! No need to be an expert! Prizes will be given out!
