Washington National Opera Presents: Family Look-in

A family-friendly event at the Washington National Opera will help parents introduce children to opera. The program is about a group of children who learn about theatre and the stage from behind the scenes. 

Children will watch and learn about the orchestra, lighting, staging, and more. The guides? Some of opera's most famous characters, like Figaro and Madama Butterfly. 

The show features members of the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program, the WNO Orchestra, and conductor Steven Gathman. Music will include excerpts from The Magic FluteLucia di LammermoorMadama Butterfly, and more.

The program is recommended for families and children ages 6-12.

Tickets range from $12 to $35.
