Meski continues her main theme which she started during a February 2011 group Show exhibition at the Foundry Gallery in Washington DC.

Meski had presented her artwork called 'Ocean On A Wire' which referred to the Gulf oil spill occurring in 2010. The 2010 piece was dedicated to criticising the slow bureaucratic processes related to the overall ecological health and well-being of the world’s oceans in lieu of the BP oil spill. Meski along with millions of observes were stunned by the US authorities' unwillingness to immediately deploy rescue and containment operations assets/manpower.  Why didn't the U.S. government act immediately then pass the cost on to BP?

There have been many accidents, incidents, and even deliberate destruction of resources on the planet Earth. This unfortunate fact gives Meski never ending inspiration to produce art that reminds us of our violent and brutal nature - the human nature. All of Meski’s works in the upcoming show are inspired by current global events.

'World On A Wire' is a collection of mixed media art on canvas, combining driftwood, shells and other objects collected from various sea shores within the United States.

'People who know more, should have more responsibility. I'm especially concerned about the United States, because it has had a very short-sighted strategy for a long time and it's finally beginning to pay for its mistakes. Evidence of this is everywhere. Unfortunately this means more pollution, more wars and more destruction - at a faster pace.
