Bank of Georgetown Headquarters Moving

The bank headquarters will move just a few block from the waterfront.

The Bank of Georgetown is moving a few blocks away from its current headquarters location at the waterfront to a new space at 1115 30th St., keeping the business in the neighborhood from which it takes its name, the Washington Business Journal reports.

"We decided it was time to look around for more efficient space. We were able to find it just a couple blocks away," Chairman and CEO Mike Fitzgerald told the WBJ.

The new space will allow the bank to stretch out a bit, upsizing from 8,000 square feet to a comparably luxurious 17,400 square feet.
