Billy Reid Opening in Early May

Billy Reid is coming to Georgetown at 3211 M St. NW.

After years of looking for just the right location to open shop in Georgetown, Billy Reid is opening at new store at 3211 M St. NW in May. The space was formerly occupied by UNO Chicago Grill.

"We’ve been looking forward to opening a shop in Georgetown for several years and are excited to have things come together the way they have," designer and owner Billy Reid said in a press release.

The multi-level store will include curated areas focused on unique elements within the collection such as the Women’s collection, the Made in the USA Heirloom line and even a space for made-to-measure services.

Droese Raney Architecture helped create the Billy Reid "feel" for the space, relying on existing architectural elements like cast iron columns and floor to ceiling windows paired with re-purposed materials, including a handrail from a turn-of-the-century pharmacy in New York.

"3211 M St NW is a beautiful building and has allowed us to advance our store model as we continue to evolve in design concept. The city has such a great energy and a style that mixes traditional with modern so well,” said Reid.
