Bloomers Underwear, Sleepwear Store Opening in Georgetown
Bloomers has locations in Old Town Alexandria and Shirlington.
Bloomers, a boutique that specializes in underwear, sleepwear and loungewear, will open a Georgetown location at 3210 O St. NW in June.
The newest addition to O Street is already known to customers in Old Town Alexandria and Shilington in Virginia for its focus on stylish yet comfortable undergarments, sleepwear and loungewear—not lingerie.
The shop was previously occupied by Antiques of Georgetown, which closed in early 2012.

Bloomers first announced the addition of its third store on the company Facebook page in April. Since then their blog has posted updates on interior construction and renovations.
The interior is painted a bright "Bloomers" turquoise and features pink chandeliers.

Not date is set for a grand opening, but the blog indicates it will be some time in June.
In Old Town, the shop has made news for its creative promotions—like partisan thong sales around the election and a gently-used bra drive for charity.
The Georgetown store will be open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
