Cajun Restaurant Proposed for Georgetown's M Street

The Cajun restaurant would replace a Vietnamese restaurant on M Street.

A Cajun restaurant, Pier 2934 Cajun Seafood, could be coming to 2934 M St. NW.

The restaurant appears on the Old Georgetown Board September agenda for review of an awning and sign for the building at the southeastern intersection of M and 30th streets, NW.

Little Viet Garden currently occupies that location, which boasts 50 seats inside and 50 additional seats on an outside rear patio. Little Viet Garden replaced Vietnam Georgetown just a few years ago and as recently as April of this year applied to have its liquor license renewed. The restaurant also renewed its business license in May of this year, good through 2015.

The item will likely appear on the Advisory Neighborhood Commission agenda at which time we might learn a bit more about this new restaurant concept.
