DC Capella Hotel Opens

After several delays the brand new Capella Hotel, Georgetown opens March 22.

The Capella Hotel Georgetown opens today at 1050 31st St. NW. The new hotel, the first of its brand in DC, features 49 boutique rooms and a 70-seat restaurant.

Though the Capella was originally slated to open in time for the Presidential Inauguaration, construction delays pushed back the opening to today.

The restaurant also features The Rye Bar, which will be fully stocked in a selection of fine Rye Whiskey. They have even created their own barrel aged Rye Whiskey cocktail: Dad’s Hat Rye Whiskey, Dolin Vermouth and Byrhh quinquina aged in charred American Oak.
