Capitol Prague Restaurant Now Open in Georgetown

Georgetown now has Czech and Slovak-inspired fare at 3277 M St. NW.

Capitol Prague, a new Czech and Slovak-inspired restaurant and cafe, opened its restaurant section Tuesday at 3277 M St. NW in Georgetown.

The new cafe and restaurant take over the former Morso space.

The Capitol Prague restaurant menu includes traditional entrees like svíčková, halušky, or vepřo-knedlo-zelo, but also features vegetarian, fish and salad options for those looking for lighter fare.

They have Czechvar Lager on tap as well as a selection of wines to "make you dream about those winding cobblestone streets of Prague," according to their newsletter.

Capitol Prague restaurant is open for dinner Monday through Wednesday 5 to 10 p.m., Thursday 5 to 11 p.m., Friday 5 p.m. to midnight. On Saturday and Sunday they will serve brunch from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. and dinner from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
