Updated: 'Customer Safety Issue' Closes Whole Foods in Glover Park

The store did not allow customers to enter between early Monday morning and late afternoon.

Whole Foods was re-opened to customers in the late afternoon. Patch has been unable get a comment on the reason for the closure.

The Whole Foods in Glover Park, just north of Georgetown, is closed to customers because of "customer safety issues."

Patch spoke with a manager who was unable to provide any details on why the store was closed.

When asked, he said there was no danger or health concerns for customers and that there were no police involved.

The last update provided indicated the store would re-open at 3 p.m. Monday.
