If you've been dying to try a restaurant, but don't want to break the bank on a three-course meal, now's your chance.

The first restaurant week of the year starts today and goes until Sunday, with lunch and dinner deals all over the city, including at more than 20 Georgetown restaurants.

Put on by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, for the next seven days 250 participating restaurants will offer price-fixed meals: three-course lunches for $20.14 and three-course dinners for $35.14.
