Free Pizza in Georgetown Through 3 p.m. Today

Sbarro is offering free slices of pizza in Georgetown at 1205 Wisconsin Ave., NW.

There is still time to snag a free slice of Pizza from Sbarro if you are out and about in Georgetown. Through 3 p.m. the pizza company will be stationed with a vintage pizza truck (from the 1940's) at Wisconsin Avenue and M Street in Georgetown.

The giveaway is part of a 25-city tour to promote its new Neapolitan pizza recipe. The tour is in honor of National Pizza Month and the new pizza recipe Sbarro is introducing "to take the company back to its Italian roots," according to a press release.

"By going back to our roots, we’re improving what set us apart from the very beginning, great pizza made from quality ingredients and served in a warm and welcoming environment,” said James Greco, CEO of Sbarro, in a prepared statement.
