Georgetown Businesses to Participate in District Sample Sale

The 10th District Sample Sale, March 29, features boutiques and restaurants from Georgetown and beyond.

After a , the District Sample Sale's spring shopping affair will take place March 29 and features eight Georgetown businesses. Moving out of Georgetown to host the event, the tenth District Sample Sale will take place downtown at 2101 L Street, NW. The change in venues did not stop six Georgetown boutiques and two restaurants from joining the event, which will raise money for the E.L. Haynes Public Charter School.

Over twenty D.C. area shops offer steep discounts on end-of-season fashion and deals on current fashion. Georgetown's , Simply Soles, , , Charm and will all be on hand for the some 700 guests likely to pour over designer clothes, shoes and accessories.

The event pampers shoppers with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from participating local restaurants, a luxury, fashion-focused silent auction and raffle, a goodie bag (included with VIP tickets). Georgetown's very own and will be among the restaurants keeping well-heeled fashionistas well-fed.

General Admission tickets are $40, VIP tickets are $100, Benefactress sponsor tickets are $250, and Corporate Benefactress tickets are $600. VIP and Benefactress ticket holders will receive the DSS paperless goodie bag and will have private access from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for an hour of bonus shopping. The general admissions shoppers have access beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the event runs until 9:30 p.m.
