Georgetown ENO Wine Bar Coming in September

The new wine bar will be located at 2810 Pennsylvania Ave., NW.

ENO Wine Bar, the long planned addition to the suite of dining offerings at the Four Seasons, will open at 2810 Pennsylvania Ave., NW in Georgetown in September.

Patch first reported about ENO possibly coming to the neighborhood in January 2012. That possibility will become a reality in September, according to a press release from ENO.

The Chicago-based ENO is known for its wine flights of three 3.5 oz glasses as well as an extensive wine-by-the-glass list. Georgetown will be ENO's sixth location and its first on the east coast.

Scott Harney, a project manager for ENO, told Patch in a previous interview that diners should expect cheeses from Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as local charcuterie and chocolate for chocolate pairings.

ENO Georgetown recently announced it will offer charcuterie items from Stachowski's Market on P Street and chocolate from Virginia-based Gearharts.

Wine selections will include several Virginia wineries like King Family Vineyards, Paradise Springs Winery and Barboursville Vineyards, in addition to a wide selection of other old and new world wines.
