Georgetown Has You Covered for Thanksgiving

The Georgetown BID compiled a helpful list of special menus and where to buy Thanksgiving necessities.

Georgetown businesses are ready for Thanksgiving, even if you're not. Count on local restaurants for a meal out on the town and local businesses for Thanksgiving essentials (fancy napkins! dessert!).

The Georgetown Business Improvement District compiled a list of what you can find in the neighborhood:

  (1645 Wisconsin Avenue) will have fabulous cakes, pies and tarts for Thanksgiving. Their menu includes Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Pecan Tart, Pear Tarts, Apple Tarts, Chocolate Terrines and more. Additionally, they'll have spinach gratin, cranberry relish with french brandy, and their signature chestnut, sausage and French bread stuffing.

(1264 Wisconsin Avenue) will be serving a special Thanksgiving Prix-Fixe Menu all day long. Guests can choose a turkey dinner ($32), prime rib ($45), or crab cake ($45). All come with a choice of soup (Crab & Corn Soup or Butternut Squash Soup) or house salad, along with a choice of two side dishes and dessert. Side options include mashed potatoes, yams, green beans almondine, mixed vegetables, sweet corn or stuffing. 

(3100 South Street), is offering a traditional Thanksgiving four-course prix fixe menu including assorted holiday dessert buffet in the Fahrenheit Ballroom. Available from 5 to 9 p.m., the special holiday menu is $95 per adult ($125 with wine pairing) and $35 per child. See full menu here.

(3015 M Street NW) is offering Salty Caramel, Orange Cranberry, and a seasonal EAT box. Sprinkles Salty Caramel cupcakes are an irresistible salty-sweet flavor combination using fleur de sel crystals hand harvested from the pristine seas off Brittany, France. The Orange Cranberry cupcakes feature an exciting blend of orange cake studded with ripe, juicy cranberries, topped with white chocolate cream cheese frosting.  Cupcakes are $3.50 each or $39/dozen.  Or, mini cupcakes are available in all flavors for $2 each. 

(1246 Wisconsin Ave NW) invites you to join them for Thanksgiving from 3:00pm-11:00pm for their regular a la carte menu or for a special prix fixe Thanksgiving feast. Their prix fixe menu is $65 per adult and $25 per child. View the menu here. 

(3301 M Street, NW) is offering two Thanksgiving-themed dozens. The Thanksgiving dozen includes 3 Caramel Apple cupcakes, 3 Maple Chocolate Chip cupcakes, 3 Chocolate² cupcakes with turkey fondant decorations, and 3 Pumpkin Spice cupcakes. Alternatively, their fall dozen includes 3 Caramel Apple cupcakes, 3 Maple cupcakes, 3 Apple Cinnamon cupcakes, and 3 Pumpkin Spice cupcakes.

Bourbon Steak (2800 Pennsylvania Avenue) is offering guests a decadent three-course prix-fixe menu priced at $110 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Executive Chef Adam Sobel will delight guests with appetizers such as Nantucket bay scallops and crispy sweetbreads with sunchokes and Valencia orange, and foie gras financier with caramel, turnips and coffee essence. Entrees will include a traditional Heritage turkey with chestnut stuffing, grilled turkey sausage and cranberry-orange confit and sturgeon poached in duck fat with celery root and ver jus. For dessert, guests can look forward to Pastry Chef Brenton Balika's sweet creations including pumpkin pie in a jar with spiced marshmallow and maple pecan ice cream and Dutch apple pancake with vanilla ice cream, butter scotch and candied bacon. www.bourbonsteakdc.com

(3124 M Street NW) will be open late till 3 a.m. on Thanksgiving, offering a traditional three-course Thanksgiving meal (Lunch: Adult $21.95, Child $13.95; Dinner: Adult $31.95, Child $20.95). An a la carte menu will also be available for both lunch & dinner. View the three course menu here.

(3276 M Street) is taking Thanksgiving orders until Monday, November 21st at 5pm. Their Thanksgiving menu features everything you need for your feast, from soup to nuts (literally!). The full menu is here.

(3000 K Street) is offering a special three-course Thanksgiving menu. Guests will have their choice of three appetizers, four entrees, and three desserts for $45.

(1226 36th Street NW) is offering a tempting Thanksgiving menu with both an a la carte and prix fixe option. The recent arrival of Executive Chef Anthony Lombardo with Pastry Chef Mallory Staley brings a new twist on classics sure to please in this elegant Georgetown setting.

(3236 M Street) is serving a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings including sausage-sage stuffing, green beans, whipped potatoes, glazed sweet potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce, and your choice of apple or pecan pie à la mode or pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
