Jonathan Adler Store to Open in July

Jonathan Adler will open at 1267 Wisconsin Ave. on July 6, according to a Facebook post from BrandLinkDC the store's D.C. communications team.

The home decor and furniture store will replace GapKids at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and N Street.

Though Patch and other outlets previously reported a possible May opening, the store will not open until July. Instead, on May 22 Adler spoke at the Corcoran Gallery of Art to promote his new store.

Adler is a potter by trade who has since developed his own design dynasty.

The Corcoran's event notice offers this description of Adler:

Since then he has nurtured an internationally recognized design brand, with eighteen stores worldwide and a wholesale business boasting over 1,000 locations.
