Mike Isabella Says 'Adios' to Bandolero in Georgetown

Isabella ends his management agreement as chef at the Georgetown Mexican restaurant on M Street.

Top Chef Mike Isabella will no longer be involved in Bandolero, the Georgetown Mexican restaurant he helped launch just over a year ago, according to the Washington City Paper.

"Everything has been dissolved," he tells the Young and Hungry blog at the Washington City Paper.

Isabella was not an owner of the restaurant but had a management agreement as chef at Bandolero, which is owned by Jonathan and Bethany Umbel, according to the city paper.

Bandolero opened in the former Hook space after a June 2011 fire gutted the latter.
