New Home Goods Store Opens in Georgetown

Sabun Home, a new home goods store now open at 1631 Wisconsin Ave. NW, features a selection of towels, linens and other items mostly from Turkey. 

"My partner and I chose Georgetown because we believe that the Georgetown locals and people who would like to shop at Georgetown will appreciate our products and their quality.  We worked very hard to select the highest quality products and everything is from Turkey," Owner Ferzan told Patch in an email. 

Ferzan, too, is from Turkey.

Items are specially selected by the owners who work directly with Turkish providers to ensure the quality of both hand-made items and the linens and towels.

As students begin pouring into the neighborhood, Sabun Home is offering a 15 percent student discount for the next two weeks on everything. Just show a student ID and get the discount.
