The Board of Zoning Adjustment unanimously approved a special exception application to allow a bowling alley and restaurant in the Georgetown Park Mall adjacent to the C&O Canal in January.

The Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) initially opposed the application, citing a lack of agreement about noise and other concerns between the Georgetown Park Condominium Owners Association and the bowling alley owners. But those concerns were later addressed and the ANC removed its objection.

“We enthusiastically welcome Pinstripes to the Georgetown neighborhood,” said Bill Starrels, ANC2E Commissioner in a statement. “We are very pleased about Georgetown being the first expansion location for Pinstripes on the east coast, and we look forward to the opening in the very near future.”

Pinstripes will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
