Sprinkles: Help the Environment, Get a Cupcake

Sprinkles Cupcakes will give out one free cupcake to each Capital Bikeshare member.

Capital Bikeshare partnered with this week to reward members for participating in the sustainable transportation option. Annual and monthly members of the bikesharing service can stop by the Georgetown cupcakery for a free cupcake June 20-24.

"Sprinkles is strong supporter of Capital Bikeshare because it makes transportation in the city easier and more environmentally friendly. We wanted to welcome members who are rediscovering Georgetown through the Bikeshare program and reward them for helping to reduce air pollution in the District," said Candace Nelson, Sprinkles co-founder and executive pastry chef.

Members can stop by any time and get a cupcake by showing their red, Capital Bikeshare key fob.
