Sushi-Ko Closed Over Tax Issue

Long-time Glover Park sushi restaurant, Sushi-Ko, is closed because of a "tax issue" reports Hyperlocal Glover Park. Sushi-Ko is located at 2309 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
The restaurant closed its doors June 28, according to a post on Prince of Petworth.
Online property records list the business license as "expired."
Hyperlocal Glover Park learned from the D.C. Department of Health's Najma Roberts that the restaurant has an issue with the Office of Tax and Revenue and that the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs said Sushi-Ko could not operate until those tax issues are resolved.
"We're working to renew the business license, and as soon as we do, we'll open right back up again,"owner Daisuke Utagawa told The Washington Business Journal last week.
