Sweetgreen Coming to Glover Park in November

The salad and frozen yogurt shop will open at 2200 Wisconsin Ave.

Sweetgreen is coming to Glover Park in November, company representatives told Eater DC this week.

The Washington City Paper first reported Sweetgreen's intentions in July when the owners registered four limited liability companies, including one in Glover Park.

The small chain just celebrated its fifth anniversary in the D.C. area. The first location at 3333 M St., NW opened Aug. 1, 2007.

Now, add Glover Park to the mix of their growing salad and froyo empire, which has 13 locations in D.C. and Pennsylvania. Eater reports:

According to the rep, the 2,000 square foot space is single-level and has a lot of window seating. Window wrapping just went up at the end of last week and expect the buildout to move quickly as it has with the chain's other recent openings.
