West Elm Pops into Georgetown

The pop up store is at 3333 M St.

West Elm opened its doors yesterday in Georgetown, its new temporary home. The home furnishings store is temporarily occupying an EastBanc, Inc. property at 3333 M St. for the next seven months.

Pop Up stores or is a movement that transforms vacant spaces into short-term businesses.

Tomorrow to celebrate the opening store West Elm is giving away frozen pops from local D.C. sweet truck Pleasant Pops. The first 200 people who come by for a free frozen pop can enter to win a $1,000 west elm gift card or other prizes.
