Rick Hoffman Named Regional Sales Vice President by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic has named Rick Hoffman, formerly branch vice president of the Georgetown office in Washington, D.C.,  as regional sales vice president. Hoffman will lead the Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia management team, which includes branch vice presidents at 14 offices and almost 900 sales associates.

“Rick is a phenomenal leader and his expertise in both the business, financial and legal side of real estate has been invaluable,” said Dean Cottrill, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic. “We are thrilled to have him taken on this expanded role with our company.”

As branch vice president of the Georgetown office, Rick has successfully built one of the top-producing Coldwell Banker branches in the region.  He came to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage from the Corcoran Group in New York, where he led 11 offices in the Hamptons and oversaw the acquisition of the company’s largest competitor. Prior to joining Corcoran, Hoffman served in a similar capacity as vice president and regional director of operations for Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, where he led the region's management team and sales associates regarding policy, procedures and sales. Under his leadership, the region increased market share plus grew the business from 6 to 10 offices and from 190 to approximately 240 agents in 18 months.

Before transitioning to corporate management, Rick practiced law for 14 years specializing in real estate law.

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Rick studied architecture and earned his BA in economics at Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduating, he worked in commercial construction lending for Maryland National Bank before pursuing his law degree.
