SUMMIT NAMES FINANCE INDUSTRY VETERAN ANTOINETTE MERRILL CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER OF THE RAPIDLY EXPANDING FIRM
July 17, 2014 (Washington, D.C.) – Summit, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of sophisticated data analysis and related services to Federal Government agencies as well as private sector clients, announces today that it has appointed Antoinette Merrill the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
In this position, she oversees and supports Summit’s financial standing through the projection and analysis of multiple budgets, leading teams composed of accounting and contracts professionals, and the prudent oversight of financial resources to ensure that the firm’s goals are achieved.
Merrill has a strong finance background, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Alexandria-based Dougherty & Associates, where she governed financial and administrative functions, including the oversight of accounting, contract compliance, internal controls, pricing and risk management.
Before her time at Dougherty & Associates, Merrill was the Controller of InterImage, an information-technology services company based in Arlington.

Merrill earned her MBA from George Mason University and her Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of San Diego. She is also a member of numerous professional organizations, including the CFO Alliance, the National Contract Management Association, and the Professional Services Council.
