March 19, 2014 (Washington, D.C.) – Summit, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of sophisticated data analysis and related services to Federal Government agencies as well as private sector clients, announces today that it has expanded its staff by three additional people.

Joining the firm are Brenda Dutrow as Manager of Due Diligence within the company’s Financial Services Directorate, Heather Brotsos as a Consultant, and Ken Morris as Information Lifecycle Manager.

Dutrow, who grew up in Sunbury, Pa., possesses a tremendous amount of legal experience, having worked at Washington-based Fannie Mae and McLean-based Freddie Mac, both mortgage finance companies, where she focused on the health-care and housing finance markets.

Those positions make her well-suited to assist Summit’s existing engagements involving loan re-underwriting and closings. Dutrow is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and earned her J.D. at the Widener University School of Law.

A native of Summit, N.J., Brotsos will support the firm’s Applied Statistics and Economics Directorate, where she will work on engagements with the U.S. Department of Labor. Previously, she led an economic modeling practice, building models to forecast growth potential and risk in implementing marketing initiatives.

Skilled in SAS, SPSS and Stata, Brotsos holds a Master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.

Morris, a graduate of Vassar College, will help support Summit’s data-driven engagements. His primary responsibilities involve ensuring that adequate hardware and storage are available for the multitude of data for which the firm works, in addition to evaluating potential business opportunities to verify that Summit has the capabilities to handle the nuances and challenges of anticipated datasets.

Morris has deep experience as a systems architect, as well as vast knowledge of information technology, and his skill-set will prove extremely valuable as Summit continues to significantly expand its work force.

“We are delighted to welcome Brenda, Heather and Ken to the ever-growing staff at Summit,” says company Principal Anthony Curcio. “Each of them has strong expertise in their respective field, and I know that they will immediately become tremendous assets to our firm.”
