WEST, LANE & SCHLAGER REALTY ADVISORS NEGOTIATES 14,115-SQUARE-FOOT HEADQUARTERS LEASE RELOCATION FOR CHPA AT 1625 EYE ST. NW IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

July 23, 2014 (Washington, D.C.) – West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors, LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate brokerage firm that exclusively represents tenants, announced today that it has completed a 14,115-square-foot headquarters lease relocation on behalf of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) in the District of Columbia.



CHPA is the 133-year-old trade association representing the leading manufacturers and marketers of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and dietary supplements.

West, Lane & Schlager Principal Eric West, LEED AP, and Senior Vice President Matt Levin, SIOR, LEED AP, along with Cresa Washington DC Managing Principal Mindy Saffer, LEED AP, represented CHPA in this 12-year transaction. CHPA moved on July 18 of this year from its current office at 900 19th St. NW to its new location at 1625 Eye St. NW. Brookfield Office Properties owns the 571,000-square-foot property at 1625 Eye St. NW.

For CHPA’s new headquarters, West, Levin and Saffer showed their client a range of options throughout D.C. and northern Virginia.

CHPA President and CEO Scott Melville said the modernized space will mark the beginning of a new era for CHPA.

1625 Eye St. NW is in the center of Washington’s Central Business District. The building is conveniently located one block from the Farragut West Metro station and offers a wide variety of amenities, including a tenant-only fitness center and a rooftop terrace with views of the Washington Monument as well as the White House.
