Georgetown workers and commuters might have been surprised by the new addition to the DC neighborhood's skyline: a tower crane.
Over the weekend workers installed the crane to help with construction of a new four-story, seven-unit residential building overlooking the historic C&O Canal.
The project at 1045 Wisconsin Ave., NW, is being developed by EastBanc, Inc.
