Actor Bradley Cooper, currently nominated for an Oscar his role in The Silver Linings Playbook, was spotted in Georgetown today.
Cooper was seen at Saxbys coffee, a popular student hangout, and was reportedly spotted on campus as well.
According to a barista at Saxby's, Cooper came in for about 10 minutes to order a coffee and a small side dish.
Cooper was in the DC area to speak about mental health at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, according to the New York Post. He was also scheduled to appear on the Chris Matthews show Thursday evening.
Friday he joins former Rhode Island Rep. Patrick Kennedy for a press conference at the Center for American Progress to discuss how Silver Linings is making progress toward removing the stigma of mental illness.
Cooper is an alumnus of Georgetown University.
