The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America creates an annual list of "the 100 most challenging places to live with allergies during the spring season." Rankings are based on the pollen score, medicine utilization per patient and the number of board certified allergists per patient.

DC came in as the 66th worst place in the United States to live with spring allergies for the second year in a row. Jackson, Miss. climbed to the top spot on the list this year, up from fourth last year.
