After Cable Boxes Irk Neighbors, Comcast Caves

Comcast recently installed "small-refrigerator-sized green boxes" on Georgetown's historic street corners for cable and internet service. Friday we learned that Comcast was working with the community to refine the review process for such installations and that several of the undesirable units had been removed.

David Grosso Ousts Michael Brown, Two GU Students are Elected

Beyond the re-election of President Barack Obama, Tuesday's election brought some changes locally. Sitting Councilman at large Michael Brown lost his seat to Independent challenger David Grosso; Vincent Orange was re-elected as an at large Democrat. Additionally, two Georgetown students will join the ANC in January.
