Frugal Family: Feb. 9-13

Everyone is watching their budget these days. This means shopping with coupons, identifying weekly savings or looking for two-for-one deals. By taking advantage of offers and savings we can stretch our dollars and enjoy the Georgetown neighborhood.

Frugal Family February 9-13

This week, Frugal Family scoured Georgetown to find some late Valentine’s Day deals to proclaim your love without breaking the bank.

CHARM

Deal: Look for unique necklaces and earrings on sale near the front door and pretty scarves in the back.

Good through: Ongoing until spring merchandise.

Deal: Colorful red and pink sweaters, flowery dresses and handbags to match.  From 40 to 80 percent on already marked down items.

Good through: Until further notice

Deal: Free salad bar with purchase of a panini or pasta entrée.  Panini’s start at $8.95 and the salad bar is great!

Deal:  For all you do-it-yourself-types, scrapbooking and craft supplies up to 50 percent off. Plus lots of clever cards and gifts.

Deal:  To get ready for the big day, contact Georgetown Aveda to schedule a manicure, pedicure and make-up application for the low price of $90. Call soon and ask about this special before they book up.
