Lane Closures on Whitehurst Freeway in Georgetown
The District Department of Transportation is inspecting bridges and tunnels for safety.
Drivers on the Whitehurst Freeway should expect lane closures Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is conducting a series of bridge and tunnel safety inspections.
According to a DDOT press release, the required lane closures and inspection activities in Georgetown are:
Whitehurst Freeway over Lower K Street

There will be a left lane closure of eastbound Whitehurst freeway over lower K Street and Water Street.
Friday, March 16, 2012
There will be a left lane closure of westbound Whitehurst freeway over lower K Street and Water Street.
