VIDEO: Bulldog Puppy, 'J.J.', is a Georgetown Mascot-in-Training

Whether or not you're a Hoya fan, you might find it hard not to be a fan of their new puppy, Jack, Jr.

Bulldog puppy Jack, Jr. (J.J.) arrives on Georgetown University's campus April 13 to learn the ropes of being a Georgetown Hoya mascot from the big dog who currently holds that title, Jack the Bulldog.

The tradition of Jack the Bulldog began in 1962, according to the University website. The current Jack took on his mascot role in 2003 and is nearly 9 years old. He will undergo surgery in April for a leg injury.

Puppy J.J. is a gift from Janice and Marcus Hochstetler, whose children currently attend the university.
