2. Easter Eggstravaganza

When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday at Rose Park
Why Go: This event, Hosted by National Community Church-Georgetown, features not one but TWO Easter egg hunts, a life-size Easter bunny, cotton candy, face painting and more.
Price: Free.
When/Where: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, at 251 18th Street South on the fifth floor in Crystal City
Why Go: The Tossed and Found sale hosted by the Junior League of Washington is one big garage sale with the proceeds used to fund the group's community-based programs and literacy activities, according to their website.

When/Where: 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Fairlington Community Center, 3308 S. Stafford St.
Why Go: Learn the basics of food production, including what and where to plant.

5. Make the Girl Dance at Malmaison
When/Where: 10 p.m. Saturday at Malmaison 3401 K St. NW
Why Go: Experience French electronic duo, Greg Kozo and Pierre Mathieu, as the bring Parisian electronic music to Georgetown. According to the event listing, you might have heard their work on Gossip Girl and in Victoria's Secret ads.
