3D Printer Road Show at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library

Can’t make it over to MLK? Get ready as one of DCPL’s 3D printers hits the road and comes to Georgetown!  Are you curious about 3D printing and the basics behind this evolving technology? Wondering what the hype is all about? Want to design your own object with rapid prototyping?

Join the Georgetown Neighborhood Library and DC Public Library’s own Digital Commons as they bring our newest technology to you where you are – in Georgetown! The Digital Commons will be here in Georgetown both on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12. They will be hosting several workshops during the weekend including: 3D Scanning, Intro to 3D Printing, 3D Jewelry Making and 3D Modeling. The times of the workshops have yet to be announced. Please email Erika(dot)Rydberg(at)dc(dot)gov for more information.
