This JSSA and EntryPoint DC career workshop is one of several in the series, Moving Up and Moving Ahead: Career Workshops at the DCJCC. Are you always on? Are you making the most of networking opportunities to grow your career to the next level? Authentic marketing messages are key. You need to develop a plan to use your connections and find new relationships to help build your network. This workshop will show that you can brand and market your most important commodity – you - and do it effectively in business and social settings.
Facilitator: Michelle Todisco, MS, Employment Support Specialist. Ms. Todisco received her Master’s in Science in Applied Educational Psychology with a concentration in School Counseling from Northeastern University. Her background includes student advising, career counseling and teaching vocation to special education high school students. As an Employment Support Specialist at JSSA she provides job development, individualized career counseling, placement services, and job coaching to clients with disabilities. Ms. Todisco is also pursuing certification from the University of Maryland in career planning and placement for Youth in Transition.
