World War II at Home: The American Red Cross at Dumbarton House, 1942-1945

A special case exhibition to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Dumbarton House being turned over for use as headquarters of the DC Chapter of the American Red
Cross during World War II!  Available for viewing during regular tour hours, Tue-Sun, 11am-3pm (last entry at
2:45pm).  On exhibition, for example, will be circa 1940s photos, a World War II Red Cross uniform, and documents
explaining the work of the DC Chapter of the American Red Cross.  In cooperation with Women In Military Service
For America (WIMSA).
