Holiday Traditions 200 Years Ago, And More With Mansion Tours

Museums open for Holidays Through History

Two historic homes in Georgetown will open Saturday for historical holiday tours.

Tudor Place and Dumbarton House are two of four museums included in Holidays Through History, a yearly Washington, D.C. event where mansions, including the Woodrow Wilson house and Anderson house, deck the halls and put on traditional holiday celebrations from the Federal period to the Guilded Age.

A shuttle bus will be available to take museum goers from house to house.

If you are a member of any of the museums on the tour, tickets are free. For nonmembers, a four museum pass is $20 at the door, or if purchased in advance, $16 for adults, $10 for children.
