The 3600 block of M Street NW is closed due to a traffic accident involving injuries, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Eastbound traffic is currently blocked.
Public Information Officer Paul Metcalf told Patch that the call came in at 3:23 p.m. for reports of an accident between a white and black truck and a black Honda on M Street at Canal Road (the 3600 block of M Street, NW).
