Car Flips On Wisconsin Near Glover Park Whole Foods

D.C. Fire and EMS say one person was transported to the hospital.

D.C. Fire and EMS transported one person to the hospital after a vehicle flipped over on Wisconsin Avenue in front of the Whole Foods in Glover Park.

Spokesman Pete Piringer said the accident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. The patient's injuries were non-life threatening, he said.

Patch contributor Judy Bunnell reported the southbound lane of Wisconsin Avenue near Calvert Street was blocked.

Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police Department, said initial dispatch reports suggest this was one-vehicle accident.
