Police: Driver Flees Crash, Scales Russian Embassy Wall
The incident occurred in Glover Park just after midnight Thursday.
A driver involved in crash on Massachusetts Avenue just after midnight Thursday fled the scene of the crash, scaled the Russian Embassy wall (2650 Wisconsin Ave. NW) and is now facing charges from both the Secret Service and the Metropolitan Police Department, according to MPD.
Secret Service took the man into custody from the Russians for unlawful entry, according to MPD Public Information Officer Tisha Gant.
The man has been charged with "leaving the scene of a crash and driving while intoxicated," according to WUSA9, though Gant was unable to confirm those charges.
